1920-1930s A SABA Bucherer Swiss articulated metal ball jointed doll with composition head and hands and booted feet. *When in production, the dolls were known as SABA dolls. This is an acronym for Speilwarenfabrik (toy factory) August (first name of Burcherer) Burcherere Amriswil (location of factory).
