Little hand carved from bone figure. Likely caribou/and or antler. The limbs are attached to the body with dried sinew, a fibrous tendon which holds muscle to bone.
This Inuit figure has moveable hands and legs.
Similar examples can be seen in the Children’s Museum in London and the Brooklyn Museum in NYC.
Seen in the Inuit community as a good luck talisman.
