The Oromo group of people from south Ethiopia use heavy hide shields from Buffalo or Hipo skin. The large circular shield is very well made with classical ridges and ribs. The handle of the shield is on the opposite side.
Very good condition. Small losses and cuts on the perimenter of the shield.
